The Jocky Family hails from Douala, Cameroon. We emigrated to France and the United States in the early 1980's. My Parents were fortunate enough to have a comfortable life in Cameroon and bought some land to secure our future.

 

The Jocky Foundation is founded by singer/songwriter Francis Jocky with the agreement of his mother, brothers and sisters to take the opportunity to build a school for art and education on the property, located in Bonendalè, 60 miles from Douala, in order to help those kids to have a better future.

The following are the short- to mid term goals to achieve :
  • Design and build the school
  • Provide equipment and books
  • recruit qualified pedagogues
